The purpose of the Marine Corps Book Program is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of information about the Marine Corps in non-fiction publications. This program seeks to assist authors provide an accurate account of the Marine Corps and to bolster knowledge of the Corps by ensuring the free flow of information through non-fiction publications to the public.
Author Request for Support Form
Communication Directorate New York fields author requests for official support from the Marine Corps. To request support, authors must fill out the Author Request for Support form, attach a publisher’s letter of intent to publish, and email nycmarines@usmc.mil.
Military, civilian, and contractor personnel who have access to DoD information that is included in a publication, must submit their work for a prepublication security review.
