U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Culver Switzer, a rifleman with the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, Marine Barracks Washington, is presented a piece of cake by retired Sgt. William Marvin Parks, a Marine Corps veteran of the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir, during a 250th Marine Corps birthday ceremony at City Hall in Murfreesboro, near Nashville, Tenn., June 4, 2025.
